EVENT BACKGROUND
Charlotte Pavey was funny, generous and loved to live life to the full. She was always physically active and fiercely competitive. In November 2021, at the age of 27, she lost her battle with cervical cancer. She was the best friend to our CEO, Jenny, and it was promised to her to keep her legacy alive- to be generous, to have fun and to always stop and appreciate the little things in life.
Amazingly, in her will, Charlotte left Nova Sports a surprise gift of £10,000. It allowed us to buy our ‘big van’ which has dramatically increased our reach to help even more people.
In 2022, alongside Charlotte’s gift, we decided to bring people together to have some fun and make even more money to help more people! Our first fundraising tournament was a big hit and we have organised it annually ever since!
You do not have to know anything about the sport to take part. Your team can be made up of 4 - 7 people aged 18+. It is a great opportunity for families, friends and business to engage in some friendly competition. All money raised goes directly to Nova Sports and the work we do.
The day is a relaxed but competitive one, with opportunities to purchase refreshments and raffle tickets as well as lots of time to socialise with others.
